Fresh Start

It has been a long time since my last post and I can say that my days have been filled with ups and downs.

Made it through the first winter with all my toes and fingers, definitely will be buying different winter gear for this year.

Had a struggle in May, two of my best friends got laid off and moved west for the summer,  I had a rock in my throat like I had leaving my life in Florida, I was once again standing in the middle of an empty land.  Work engulfed my life and I had to find a new avenue to take to keep my peace of mind.   So I bought a set of golf clubs and a bow.  The bow is the only one that I am confident with.

My two buddies will be returning home and work in the next week or so, this has been a positive pick me up really looking forward to the friendship and laughs.

I am presently working on a new web adventure and have been designing the site, hope to get it running by winter… can’t let the cat out of the bag just yet.

Long hot days are what we have for now and I need to get prepared for the day tomorrow, so without further a due I will post more to come.

Psalm 90

Psalm 90

A prayer of Moses, the man of God.

1 Lord, through all the generations
you have been our home!
2 Before the mountains were born,
before you gave birth to the earth and the world,
from beginning to end, you are God.

3 You turn people back to dust, saying,
“Return to dust, you mortals!”
4 For you, a thousand years are as a passing day,
as brief as a few night hours.
5 You sweep people away like dreams that disappear.
They are like grass that springs up in the morning.
6 In the morning it blooms and flourishes,
but by evening it is dry and withered.
7 We wither beneath your anger;
we are overwhelmed by your fury.
8 You spread out our sins before you—
our secret sins—and you see them all.
9 We live our lives beneath your wrath,
ending our years with a groan.

10 Seventy years are given to us!
Some even live to eighty.
But even the best years are filled with pain and trouble;
soon they disappear, and we fly away.
11 Who can comprehend the power of your anger?
Your wrath is as awesome as the fear you deserve.
12 Teach us to realize the brevity of life,
so that we may grow in wisdom.

13 O Lord, come back to us!
How long will you delay?
Take pity on your servants!
14 Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love,
so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives.
15 Give us gladness in proportion to our former misery!
Replace the evil years with good.
16 Let us, your servants, see you work again;
let our children see your glory.
17 And may the Lord our God show us his approval
and make our efforts successful.
Yes, make our efforts successful!

Blow the dust off

Ok this is sad when a post takes almost 1/2 a year to come out

Taking a few pic’s and having fun

I've drifted away

Sitting by a fire

There is something about sitting out doors in the country next to a fire, looking up at the stars and just letting the day pass on. It is amazing the amount of stars that can be seen, even the “Milky Way” so peaceful and relaxing. For this day I say goodnight
